Now, for today's project from Scor-pal Designer Lisa Andrews.

First off I have a lovely treat basket.  
I used the Cuddle and Coo collection from Momenta.

Start with a 12x12 piece of cardstock and score at 4” and 8”, turn the paper 90 degrees and score again at 4” and 8”.  Fold all scored lines.  Score and fold each corner diagonally and bring them up to the middle.  Decorate each square with 3 ¾” squares and attach a ribbon (or as I did, beads) to the middle and presto!  A cute treat basket!  I made the flowers with a Stampin Up! punch,  I layered several layers and attached them together with a brad.

Next is my Trinket Chest.  I used Magnolia Stamps, colored with Distress Inks  to decorate the top.  Here are the instructions:

The drawer are 3”x3”.  Start with a piece of paper 6”x6” and score each side at 1 ½”.  Attach a drawer liner, 2 ¾” x 2 ¾”  in the middle.

To create the drawer pulls, I start with a brad, eyelet and flower decoration.  Attached flower to brad with hot glue, then thread the eyelet through the post of the brad, as shown.  Punch a hole through the drawer front and attach brad, the eyelet will provide just enough space to lift it off of the paper. 

Repeat to create 8 drawers.

Next wrap a 3” x 10” piece of cardstock around the drawer, there will be overlap, this is where you will attach the slip cover together with Scor-Tape.

Cut a 3” x 3” of chipboard and attach to the top of one of the drawers, this will stabilize everything really good.  Stack another drawer on top. 

Adhere all of the drawer sets together to create your chest.  Attach covered 3”x 3”, chipboard to the sides.  The top and bottom are covered 7”x7” pieces of chipboard.

With a fun collection of Momenta papers and stickers to work with, it is easy to make an assortment of cards with the help of your Scor-pal.

Adorable Card

Cut blue cardstock 4 ½” x 11”.

To create the top fold, use a Scor-pal and score at 5 ½”.

To create the score lines at the bottom of the card, score at 10”, 10 ¼” and 10 ½”.

Corner round all edges.

Since these Momenta stickers are pliable, I was able to gently curve the banner stickers so they fit across the top of my card.

I then added a Momenta sentiment slightly above the first score line.

Friends Card

Cut blue cardstock 4 ½” x 11”.

To create the top fold, use a Scor-pal and score at 5 ½”.

Corner round all edges.

Cut pattern paper 4” x 5”, corner round edges and adhere to the card.

Cut pattern paper 3” x 4”.

Score 1” on both long edges.

Adhere puffy sentiment and then adhere to the card.

Graduation Easel Card

Cut blue cardstock 5 ½” x 11”.

Placing the long side on the Score-pal, score at 5 ½” and 8 ¼”.

Fold on the 5 1/2" scored line to create the card, then fold on the 8 1/4" scored line to create the tent fold. 

Cut another piece of cardstock 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" and add to the tent to create the top layer the card.

Cut the striped paper 5 ¼” x 5 ¼” and adhere to the front of the card.

Cut the dotted paper 4 ½” x 4 ½”.

Score ½” around all four edges and add to card front.

Add a puffy sticker at the top scored line.

Stamp sentiment on blue cardstock in brown ink.

Ink the edges with brown ink and mat with brown cardstock.

Add to card front with foam adhesives for dimension.

Add GRAD stickers on the left side of the card.

Cut the blue print 5 ¼” x 5 ¼” and adhere to the card base.

Cut the dotted paper 2” x 5 ¼”.

Score ¼” on both long sides

Adhere to the card base.

Add a puffy sticker across the center which will be used to hold the easel upright.

Beautiful Card

Cut pink cardstock 4 ½” x 11”.

To create the top fold, use a Scor-pal and score at 5 ½”.

To create the score lines at the bottom of the card, score at 1/2", 3/4" and 1”.

Corner round all edges.

Turn card lengthwise and add the banner stickers

I then added a Momenta sentiment  along the first score line.

An embossed sticker was the perfect touch for the interior sentiment.

Now for today's project brought to you by Scor-pal Designer Katie Tate. 

Today it's my turn to share my projects made with the fabulous papers and stickers from the Brea's Room line at Momenta and my absolute work horse tool, my trusty Scor-Pal!

My first project was a simple gatefold card and belly band.



I started with a 6" by 12" piece of cardstock that I scored at 5" and 11"
I then punched the edges of the "gate edge" of the card.
The folds were burnished and then the card decorated.



The belly band was also punched with the same border punch.



The inside was decorated and a sentiment from the vellum sentiments added.

My second project was a 3D vase of flowers in a frame.





I used a 12" square frame (designed for holding scrapbook layouts) and took out the glass to give me depth for the vase part.



The flowers were made from rosettes made on the Scor-Pal from punched strips of paper 1 1/2" wide by 12" long. Throughout all my projects I used the same Daisy border punch so that everything coordinated. Once the strip was punched I used the Scor-Pal to score in between each flower scallop and in the center of the flower. Then I fan folded the strip, attached the ends together and formed the rosette. I finished each flower with a glittery flower sticker.



The vase was made from a simple scored piece of paper, the score lines made at each 1/2" made it easy to form the semi circle for the vase shape



The stems of the flowers were also made on the Scor-Pal from strips of varying lengths, all are 1" wide. They were scored lengthwise at each 1/4" (so 3 score lines) and then folded with the two ends overlapping making a long thin pyramid tube.
Then they were attached to the back patterned paper on the frame and the rosette added to the top.



My final project is a 16" by 20" canvas.





I hand cut 6 bunting pieces to go along the top of the canvas for the title. Each bunting piece was topped with a pleated piece of paper.
To form the pleats I scored along the length of the paper at 1/2" and 1/4" increments (so 1/2", 3/4", 1 1/4", 1 1/2" and so on) and then pleated the paper so the 1/4" sections were folded under the 1/2" part to form the pleat.



I made the flowers the same as the rosettes on the frame but this time used ribbon as the stems.



The flowers come out of a pocket that I scored on the front to make a checkerboard pattern.



The final scored part was a big 1/4 circle fan.
This was created from 2 strips of punched paper, each measuring 4" by 12". This time I scored only between the flowers, making taller folds.

To kick of this week's event we have not one but two of the Scor-pal designers sharing projects with you! We're sure you'll find something to love now matter what your style.




Our first project comes from Scor-pal designer Gini Cagle.

I recently saw a tutorial for a very cool shaped/ folded card and have been waiting for just the right moment to try it out. The tutorial that I used was from Marianne Skjelstad’s blog. She didn’t have a name for this fold, but I thought that a wing-fold shaped card was a good description. The Scor-pal Design Team got to play with products from Momenta this week – and I used papers from one of the Momenta Pyramid Pads. This particular pad coordinates with the Butterfly Garden line.

Here's how to make the card:

First, cut your paper 6” x 11 ¾”. Using your Scor-pal, score at 3 ¼”, 5”, 6 ¾”, and 8 ½”. 

 Fold as shown.

Trace the shape that you want to use for your wing on the two outer panels of the card, and cut to shape. For my card, I traced the outside of my Cheery Lynn Designs Oval Doily Stacker One die, so that it would be slightly larger than my die cut. Ink the edges and add decorative die cuts, and patterned paper panels.

I used a smaller die from the same set for my front panel and decorated it with matching stickers from Momenta.  Below is the card with both a side view and folded into closed position.

Next up we have Scor-pal Designer Diane Zechman. 

Hi friends! Today I have 2 different projects to share using the same Kaleidoscope papers and stickers. First up I have a 12 x 12 scrap page. As you may know, I am not a scrapper but I am slowly trying my hand at it. The sticker at the bottom says "Smile and the world smiles with you". So true!

 

This is an old photo of my DD when she was little...love that grin! All dressed up but no swimsuit on. lol. If you look closely through the panes in the door, there's a little kiddie pool outside...all that we had at the time! 

I used those panes of glass as inspiration to make a diagonal embossed background of 1" squares on the top of the page. It was very easy to create with the Scor-Pal. Here's a close up of the scoring and some random stitching on my sewing machine. I love the puffy scalloped border sticker and I especially love the layered flower sticker I used. Super cute! 

For the next project, I went in a different direction and made 2 friendship cards. The same Kaleidoscope papers and stickers were used, along with the same green thread for stitching. I also added some Stickles to the stickers and stuck on a few sticky-back rhinestones. (say that a few times!)

The cards are 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 4 1/4 and 8 1/2 to create a pocket inside. (Exactly like the Gift Card / Money pocket cards I made... except this time it holds a little pull-out tag).

Here's the inside. The flap is made into a pocket with Scor-Tape on the top and bottom edges. As you can see, I added more Momenta stickers and papers to the inside.
