Scor-pal and Bo Bunny Week-Day 3

First up: Scor-pal Designer Diane Zechman

This week the Scor-Pal DT has teamed up with the Bo Bunny DT to bring you lots of paper inspiration! Today it's my turn to share a few things I made with the Scor-Pal and the sweeet Bo Bunny Blitzen collection. Be sure to also check out the matching embellishments...adorable!

Here I created a Gate-fold card and two Mini Christmas Totes.


stamps- Bo Bunny Blitzen; paper- SU! Espresso, Bo Bunny- Double Dot Chiffon Stripe, Blitzen Dot, Blitzen Stripe, Blitzen Sentiment; ink- Memento Tuxedo Black, markers- Bravo Burgundy, Sahara Sand, Cocoa; accessories- Scor-Pal, Scor-Tape, pop dots, Stickles, SU! Clear Tinsel Trim, Crop-A-Dile, jumbo eyelets; Bo Bunny Blitzen accessories- Stickers, Jewels, Layered Chipboard Stickers, Buttons, and Rub-ons.

The front of the Gate-fold card has a Layered Chipboard Sticker wreath. I outlined the striped paper layer with some glitter.




When the left flap is opened, it reveals the panel attached to the right flap. A large green snowflake sticker, some Blitzen jewels, and a few rub-on words were added to the patterned paper.




The card fully opened... the ornament circle is a sticker and the birds are another rub-on.

The Mini Christmas Totes are quite cute in size and very easy to make. The Blitzen ornament was stamped onto patterned paper, cut out, and popped up with dimensionals. It was also adorned with jewels. The bag has a few other Blitzen embellishments...the red snowflake and scalloped border are stickers, and the silver snowflake is a button.



The reindeer on this bag was stamped and popped up also. Select areas were colored and glittered, and a tiny jewel was applied where a collar might be. More scalloped border here and three layered chipboard snowflake stickers.




One last photo... I wanted to share with you how professional the bottoms of the bags look. Be sure to check out the tutorial (linked above) to see how to fold the bottom flaps to achieve this look.

I had the privilege of working with Bo Bunny's Garden Girl line in conjuction with my Scor Pal this month.  Since Bo Bunny was very generous with their supplies, I decided to make a party ensemble.

The Party banner was cut at 5" and 5 1/2" with my Cricut Expression and the Sports Mania Cartridge. The smaller piece was inked with Clearsnap's Mix'd Media Leather Inx and adhered on the larger piece.  A small piece of pink cardstock was cut for the top of the banner headers and 2 score lines were made with my Scor-Pal.  Ink was added to the score lines to help them stand out a bit.  The letters were cut using the Plantin Cartridge and attached to a Spellbinders Scalloped Circle.

The candy bag uses a Bo Bunny die cut that was scored in half with my Scor-Pal then it was adhered to the top of the bag.  A second Bo Bunny die cut and the owl were added on top.

The gift bag uses Bo Bunny cardstock and pattern paper. - score lines were added across the bag just above the pearl accents.

The card was cut 5 1/2" x 11" and then folded to create a center opening.  A Bo Bunny die cut was used on the card's front and rub-ons were added.  Inside, I added additional Bo Bunny die cuts.  The edges were then inked.

First Up, Scor-pal Desinger Virginia Nebel:

Hello, I hope you have enjoyed the wonderful creations using the Scor-pal and Bo Bunny products. I’d like to share with you my Accordion Tri-fold Flap album using BoBunny’s delicious and beautiful Sweet Tooth collection.

This mini album is very easy to create and you can fit lots of photos and journaling to capture your favourite memories.

Here are the steps :

I have used plain card stock and the score marks are shown in pencil for visual clarity, double-sided pattern paper works best for this project.

Place a 12 x 11 ½ double-sided pattern paper onto the Scor-pal and score at 4 and 8 inches.

Rotate paper 90 degree clockwise, and score paper at 6 inches. Rotate paper back to original position after this step.






Cut along the top half vertical score lines at 4 and 8 inches. The first and last flaps are folded down and the middle flap is folded back. You will notice the flaps are shorter than the base so that you can place a decorative border along the edge. The border brings attention to the flap as an inter-active element and reminds the reader to flip up the flap when viewing the album.







Now you are ready to decorate your Accordion Tri-Fold Flap album. 

Here is my finished project, I am going to look forward to filling it with memories of a birthday celebration for a very special little girl who just turned 2!

Core'Dinations cardstock

I used the Cookie Box template from Scor-pal to make my fall themed box. 

For the dimensional flower on top of the box, I stamped the sunflower stamp three times, fussy cut each image, and shaped the petals.

I used my Scor-Pal to emboss a pattern on the Core'dinations cardstock, and then I sanded the lines to reveal the core color. It was really fun to build layers on the card with all of the embellishments that are available in this collection.

First off we have 

Scor-pal Designer Katie Tate

I decided to make my version of an Explosion Box but started with a 12" by 12" sheet of cardstock scoring at 4" and 8" and then rotating a 1/4 turn and scoring again at 4" and 8".

I then removed the 4 outer squares for the base. The lid was a piece of cardstock 6 1/8" square and all 4 sides scored at 1".

Border Punch - Martha Stewart

The lid has a rosette made using 12" by 1 1/2" strips of patterned paper. The strips were punched with the heart border punch and scored between each heart. I love the different look each different border punch gives to this simple rosette.

Each side is adorned with a different chipboard sentiment.

Here is the inside view. I made a mini album to match the box and it fits great in the box.

The album pages are all 4" square and held together with a mini binder ring.

The paper lent itself very well to a mini album with different accents on the paper working great in the mini size.

Here are the different pages, ready for your family photos and memories.

The back page has the perfect sentiment, don't you think.

I love how this turned out and I can't wait to add photos to it.

Scor-pal Designer Julie Korber

Hi all! This week Scor-Pal is teaming up with Bo-Bunny to share some projects using these two fabulous products together! Since I am using Bo Bunny's paper line Father Christmas, I thought I'd whip up a project that would be perfect as a little hostess gift or accent for your home!

So, let's get started! I wanted to create some Christmas coasters and a little coaster stand to hold them in. I started with these round coasters that I found in the dollar bin at Michaels.

I'll admit, they are pretty as is -- but mine will take on more of a Christmas flair! I started by making my holder. Take a piece of paper (Bo Bunny Wine Dot) that measures 5-1/2" by 10-1/2" and score 1/2" on each side lengthwise.

Flip your paper 90 degrees and then score at 2-1/2", 4-1/2", 5-1/2" and 8". 

Fold each side in, and fold along all lines (valley folds). You can see below that I added some 1/4" Scor-Tape so that the two outside sections could be folded in. 

After you fold both of those sections in, flip your polka dot paper over and add some Scor-Tape to the 1" base section. To create my coaster holder, I also created a cummerbund and base. The cummerbund section was created with a 1-1/2" by 11-1/2" strip of green polka dot paper. It was scored at 1/2", 5" and 6" and 1o-1/2".  I secured on the side with some Scor-Tape. I also created a base for my coaster holder to sit on by covering a 4-1/2" by 2" piece of chipboard with this beautiful striped decorative paper (Bo Bunny Father Christmas Stripe).

 And, this is what it looks like when you put it all together!

Add a Layered Chipboard sticker from the collection to spruce up the front and this part of the project is done! I have to say, I love how the rhinestones are already attached to these stickers -- makes it so easy!

The next part was making my coasters more festive! I covered each with a different paper from the Father Christmas collection and secured to my round coasters with the help of some Modge Podge. 

And, here's a peek at all five done! You can see that I layered pieces and parts from different papers to give it more pizazz and really give it that decoupaged look. I just love the classic lines of these papers -- it creates a truly vintage look, don't you think?

Add the coasters to the cute little holder and.... voila!
