Back to School with Janice Whiting

Hi, everyone!  Janice here again bringing you a great first of the year teacher gift!  My sweet kiddos will be starting school here in a few weeks so we've had school shopping on our minds lately.  I thought about what we could give to our new teachers on the first day that could be both practical and cute, and I came up with this sweet and simple post it note holder.

I first started out with a 9 1/4 by 9 1/4 square piece of patterned card stock. Using your Scor-Pal, score and cut it according to the diagram below.

Here is the actual box cut and scored.

Next step is to fold in and adhere the side flaps.

With all flaps adhered.

At this point, use a circle punch to cut a semi-circle shape out of one side.

Now, glue all the side tabs to the outside of box walls as shown below.

And your post it note holder is done!

Side view.

And, voila!  A super easy and super cute teacher gift idea!

Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my latest Scor-Pal project!  Have a wonderful day!
Janice :)
