Quick and Easy Easter Cards with Katie Tate

If you are looking for our challenge you will find the details HERE

Card Recipe:
Image - Easter Bunny Freebie from Pink Gem
Medium - Copic Markers
Sentiment and Stickers - Hobby Lobby
Grass Die - Accucut
Scoring Tool - Scor-Pal
Adhesive - Scor-Tape

Start with a 12" by 4" piece of cardstock, scored at 6" on the long side.

On the inside draw an egg shape for the card. I used a circle die to create the curves and then cut out with scissors.

On the flaps left at the base scored at 1/2" to create a stand for the card.

From a piece of cardstock 3" long score at 1/2" and 2" to create a hinge for added stability to help the card stand.

Attach the hinge as shown using Scor-Tape.

Decorate the card as desired. I used corrugated cardstock and die cut the grass and the Scor-Tape was perfect to hold the thicker materials

Quick and Easy Easter Cards with Toni Storie

If you are looking for our challenge you will find the details HERE
Hello again Crafty Friends!  We are back with another set of Quick and Easy cards.  This time we have Easter on the brain.  I have created a quick and easy Double Z Fold card.  With a total of six scores, you are on your way to fancy folded card.
For this card, you will need:
  • Scor-Pal
  • Scor-Tape
  • 4" x 12" piece of card stock
  • 2 1 3/4" x 3 3/4" pieces of designer paper
  • 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" piece of designer paper
  • 1" x 9" piece of card stock
  • Matching card stock scraps for die cutting
  • Stamps
  • Ink/Copic Markers
  • Spellbinders Standard Circle & Lacey Circle dies
  • Dimensional Adhesive
Place the 4" by 12"piece of card stock into the Scor-Pal with the 12" side of the card stock against the top fence.  Score at 2", 4", 8" and 10".
Fold in both ends on the 4" and 8" score lines.
Fold both ends out on the 2" and 10" score lines.
To create what will be a belly band for the card, place the 1" by 9" piece of card stock into the Scor-Pal.  With the 9" side of the card stock against the top fence, score at 2 1/4" and 6 1/4".
Apply Scor-Tape on the far right end of the belly band as pictured below.
Decorate the front panels of the Double Z Fold card with designer paper and then place belly band under the card and wrap left side over first.
Remove the adhesive backing from the Scor-Tape and fold right side of the belly band over the top.
Add stamped die cut to front of the belly band.
Finish the inside with another stamped die cut.
That's it folks!  Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderfully creative day!

Quick and Easy Easter Cards with Janice Whiting

If you are looking for our challenge you will find the details HERE

Hi, everyone! Today I have a quick and easy Easter card with a fun background design.

This background isn't hard at all!  Let me show you how I did it.

First, cut your card stock to 5 1/2" x 9" and score 2 1/4" in on both sides as shown below.

Fold both sides in at the score lines to create your card base.

With a pencil, draw a line from the center of one side to the nearest scored line.  Then, using a ruler, line up one corner of the card base to the point where the pencil line meets the scored line, and score.

From here, score every half inch in that section.

Do the same on the other section for each side of the card.

Here is what the background looks when completed.

From here you can decorate as desired!  I added some Spellbinder's dies and flowers.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Janice :)

Quick and Easy Easter Cards with Diane Zechman

If you are looking for our challenge you will find the details HERE

Good morning! This week the Scor-Pal team is sharing some ideas for Quick & Easy Easter cards. Today I have a card that may look time consuming at first glance but I assure you it is both quick and easy!

I used the Grid Technique to create my card. First I started with a 4x4 square of white cardstock and scored it diagonally in both directions every 1/2" to create the grid. The finished scored background will look like this.

Next I stamped my images over the same side, with the indented grooves. The ink will not stamp in the scored areas.

Then I colored select areas with Copic markers. Be sure to avoid coloring in the scored lines. Trim the panel if desired and finish the card.

Be sure to check out all the inspiration this week on the Scor-Pal blog to jumpstart your Easter card creations!

stamps- SU! Easter Blossoms; paper- white, brown, SU! Pink Pirhouette; ink- Memento Rich Cocoa; accessories- Scor-Pal, Copics, tracing wheel, Sweet 'n Sassy Lacey Eyelet Border die, dimensional, rhinestone.

"More Than One Score" Scor-Pal Challenge #2 - Christmas In March and Use Your Dies

Welcome to the 2nd Monthly Challenge here at Scor-Pal!
We love showing our projects to you and now it's your chance to show your creations to us!
Each month we will have a different theme and you will have a month to create and enter your projects. As well as the theme you will need to make "More Than One Score" and tell us where you used the Scor-Pal on your project. So a single fold card won't count but an Easel, Gatefold, Stair Step, etc will :) Also we love to see your "Anything But a Card" projects, just as long as you make "More Than One Score"
We have a great theme this month, we want to see a Christmas theme with you including something die cut on your scored project.
We have a nice set of samples from the Design Team, just click on their names to go to their blogs for more details on their creations.
The challenge ends at 10pm on March 31st and the new one starts on April 1st. Winners and our favorites will be revealed on April 5th.

Now for some inspiration
