SEI and Scor-Pal Week with Jennie Harper

Welcome back for project 2 of day 4 of the SEI and Scor-Pal cross-promotion week !  We have lots of fun in store for you, including wonderful projects and great prizes.  Every day, we will have 2-3 posts on our blog, and the SEI blog is going to be sharing projects and prizes as well. Leave comments on our blog, and Facebook page for entries to win.  There may be extra ways to earn entries hidden in the posts - so pay close attention for those chances.
So, speaking of prizes, here they are:

1.  A full-sized Scor-Pal!  We will also add a couple of rolls of Scor-tape!

2. May papercrafting kit

 3. May card kit.

So you have three chances to win! Be sure to tell your friends, because you won't want to miss out on this giveaway!  Make sure all of your entries are in by Sunday, May 5th, 11:59 pm E.S.T.

I am so excited that Scor-Pal and SEI are teaming up to bring this fun Blog Hop Week. Today I wanted to share an A2 Box I made to hold a set 4 cards and envelopes.
Supplies:
Patterned Paper: SEI Diane patterned paper
Die: Tag die (Wplus9 Design Studio)
SRM Stickers
Adhesive: Scor-Tape

 You will need a piece of patterned paper 7 1/2" x 11".
Score at 3/4" and 6 3/4"
Turn patterned paper and score at 4 1/2", 5 1/4", 9 3/4" and 10 1/2".
Fold patterned paper along score marks and snip along the long side of paper at each score mark: 4 1/2", 5 1/4", 9 3/4" and 10 1/2" on both sides of the paper to first score mark. Also, snip off the top of the folding box (see photo):
Using a circle punch, punch a half circle along top of box to makes access easier for flap.  Apply Scor-tape to sides for assembling box.

The box has coordinating cards included and were made by scoring a card front using a Scor-Bug to create a fun, bumpy texture to the front.  It was scored it at 1/4", 1/2", 3/4" and 1" and added coordinating patterned paper.

Here are the card included:

Hope you will try making one of these yourself!!  If you do be sure to leave me a comment as I would love to check it out!!

Extra Entry Alert:  Add an extra comment for your favorite types of tutorials that you enjoy.

My current crafting obsession surrounds paper folding techniques to create books, albums, boxes, etc. So I can safely say that paper folding tutorials are my favourite tutorials to read and save!

the turorials I like the most are video's because I can look over and when I don't know what to do. On paper you see the same picture everytime but in a video you can see something else everytime

Some day I am going to make a card set as a gift, I so love the idea of doing this kind of project. These are really simple and pretty and I love the embossed dots on the bottom.

I like photo tutorials when they are well done and the explanations are clear. Otherwise, I am a VERY visual learner and for more complicated projects it's easier to SEE the process as it's being done.
