As begin our new 2012/2013 term this month we would like to start off by introducing you to the Scor-pal Team.
Diana is the designer and inspiration behind Scor-Pal, a new versatile scoring tool that simplifies folding for all paper crafts. For more than a decade, both card making and scrapbooking have been Diana's first love. From 2005 to June 2008 she was a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and discovered a passion for teaching and helping people uncover their inner creativity through the use of new techniques and tools.
Prior to her interest in rubber stamping and paper crafts, Diana was a tool design expert in the Polymer Clay industry where she invented three innovative products. 'The Cutting and Measuring Template for Polymer Clay' is available in mainstream craft stores across North America.
Diana and her husband, Roy, are both retired and enjoy a blessed life. They have a beautiful granddaughter named Sienna who brings great joy to their lives. They love to travel, play golf, and are avid bridge players. Their son, Brandon, and his wife Jaylene, have been instrumental in bringing Diana's Scor-Pal vision to fruition.
Scor-Pal is Diana’s first foray into tool design for the rubber stamping and scrapbooking world - and hopefully not her last.

Penny Wessenauer-Scor-pal Template Designer
Penny Wessenauer was trained in an architecture-based program of interior design, and worked for years in the field of architecture before taking an early retirement. Retirement allowed her the time to indulge in her love of paper and card making. Using her early training, she began drawing "to scale" templates for card types for others to use. She welcomes your visit to her Photobucket account and your use of what she offers there.

Design Team:
Abby Henderson lives in the beautiful green state of Oregon with her husband Steve and teenagers Tre' and Kaley. She's also "mom" to a spoiled mini Dachshund, Bella. She works full time outside the home but always finds time to work in her craft room everyday. Abby started scrapbooking 17 years ago when she had her son Tre' and her love for this hobby soon turned into a passion which is now a full blown obsession and she hasn't looked back since. She loves making not only layouts but cards, tags, ATC's, board books and her most favorite is making minis and altered items and pretty much anything else she can scrap up.
Even though she's been scrapbooking/paper crafting for 17 years, she just started her blog a little over a year ago, ScrappinAbby, and also does video tutorials as well. She has a project that was selected for publication next year which she is very excited about. Her favorite color is purple and her craft room reflects that. She loves vintage items and loves using them in her many crafting projects. You can also see her love of distressing and layering of textures in her work. Her daughter Kaley also shares this love of paper crafting and she can often be found working beside her mom in her craft room.
She is very excited to be a part of the Scor-Pal Design Team and she can't wait to get started and sharing her projects with you.

Diane Zechman lives in northeastern PA with her family and one spoiled pup. Online she is also known as "Cookiestamper" because she loves baking (and eating!) cookies and also has a collection of cookie stamps. She has been actively rubber stamping and paper-crafting since 2000, having served on several design teams and been featured in various publications. Diane enjoys working with many different techniques and styles, creating cards and various 3-D items. The Scor-Pal tool is one of her “essential” items to create with. It will never gather dust as it is used on every card and nearly every project she makes. Diane enjoys paper-crafting because it is very satisfying to make something with your own hands, see a finished product in a short amount of time, and know that it will bring a smile to the recipient. The Scor-Pal and Scor-Tape allow her to easily and effortlessly realize those accomplishments.
Gini Williams Cagle is an avid scrapbooker and cardmaker who lives in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. She has always been drawn to anything vintage, which has been a major influence in her work. Before she jumped into the world of papercrafting, she was a well-known beadwork artist and teacher. Since finding her paper pasion about 11 years ago, she has never looked back. Her Scor-Pal projects have been published in Score, Fold, Create as well as Creative Cuts and Folds For Paper (both published by Annie's). She enjoys serving on the design teams for several well known manufacturers and is thrilled to be back for a second term on the Scor-Pal team.
Jennie Harper lives in North Carolina and is a wife and stay-at-home mom of three. She was first introduced to paper crafting 12 years ago and discovered a love for all things paper crafted. Jennie is currently on several design teams, blessed to have been published in a number of magazines, and thrilled to be a part of the Scor-Pal design team.
Katie is a wife of 18 years and a Mum to 3 beautiful children. She has been papercrafting for 14 years now and card making for 4. Katie is English by birth but has been in the US for 15+ years and now resides in sunny North Texas. Katie loves to color and states, "I have done it all my life, you could always find a coloring book and felt tip pens in my Christmas stocking. Copic Markers are my medium of choice." Katie loves all types of cards but says she typically struggles a little with the CAS style, "I’m a more is more kinda gal!" Katie has been using the Scor-Pal for a few years now and rarely crafts without it due to the ease of use and the adaptability to be able to create many different items. Katie teaches scoring techniques in my local scrapbook store and am always looking for new things to make and new techniques to learn.
Lisa Andrews lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She loves living in the "wild west" and love all that entails. Lori Williams is a happy, fun loving, Southern girl who lives in the Western North Carolina, mountains. She has two beautiful little boys who keep her running as they are 6 and 11 and full of energy. Cole is her youngest and he’s hard to hold down. Will is her oldest son and he is disabled. Getting out of the house with him is a bit more challenging for her so she feels very blessed to be able to share her art with the world yet be at home with him. She lives right next door to her best friend and sister (Gini) who also serves on Scor-Pal’s design team and is just as passionate about the field as Lori. They certainly are a dangerous pair at scrapbook expos. She has always participated in the arts in one form or the other, starting with pottery, then receiving her college degree in Jewelry/ Metal Production crafts and finally crossing over into paper after the birth of her first son. Art is her form of therapy and is an addiction for her that she loves and loves to share with others.
