Did you know that CardMaker is published by DRG Publishers--who also happens to be the publisher of the new Score, Fold, Create idea book from Scor-pal!?

This new book can be pre-ordered now through the Scor-pal site. Not only will you receive 10% off the price of the book you will also receive a discount coupon good for the Scor-Envi which aids in diagonal scoring and envelopes and will be available in the Fall.

Now for today's project from Scor-pal Designer Lisa Andrews

I have created this great k-cup purse. I saw this amazing Dixie cup holder in an ad and just had to create one to carry k-cups!

First I wove my Really Reasonable Ribbon, I used the 3/8" Twill Assorted ribbon as the base for my weave. I started it on a piece of cardstock that was 4" x 6" and adhered Scor-Tape to the sides to give it some stability:

Next I created the cup holder. I used a piece of cardstock cut 6 3/4" x 5 1/4". Line up the 5 1/4" part of the cardstock with the top fence of your Scor-Pal. Score are 1 1/4" and 4". Next, using a cutting system, (I used Creative Memories), cut three circles (I used the #5 circle with the blue blade cut inside).

Score a piece of 12" x 6 3/4" at 4 1/2" and 6 1/2". Attach the cup holder to the card stock as shown

Decorate your purse and attach a button to close.

Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to check out the rest of the projects from earlier this week if you missed them!

What have I learn't this week? Well loads! but my fav new technique would have to be using my scor-pal to make my own embossed backgrounds. Why did I never think of this?

I have learned this week that you can use the score pal for many different techniques. My favorites have been the cards with many different folds.

I've learned about some of your other products this week. I like how they showcased some of them over at RRR - especially the craft mat.

What an adorable purse, though I'd have likely stopped with the woven front and made it a card. I admit that I'm lazy that way. I have it bookmarked, however, and will make it for a friend who loves this kind of stuff. Thanks for the idea and instructions.

I learned that a few well-placed score lines and some gorgeous ribbon can really kick a project up several notches. It's been a fun week. I hope you collaborate again.

I've seen a lot of great projects, ideas and techniques this week. I think my favorite and the one I'll use the most is the idea of putting ribbon on some card stock and running it through a die cutter. Love, love, love that idea. Thanks!

What I learned this week is you can add texture and detail to anything by using the Scor-pal and it will look fantastic!

Great project today and so fun. Loved the woven ribbon in the project. What I learned this week was to be innovative and use my Scor Pal for more than folding, such as the texture backgrounds, adding texture & design to a card and to just have fun with it. Thanks for such a fun week.

Yeah! Love giveaways. Thanks for a chance.

Something new I learned this week is how to pleat your paper by just scoring and folding.

What a way to share a little treat of special coffee or teas with a friend. I am loving the woven ribbon front. Gorgeous!

I have learned a lot of great ideas on how to present gifts instead of just a plain bag or box. It really makes a much nicer impression to give even a little gift in a fun and pretty way.
Thank you! :)
