Now for today's projects from Scor-pal Designer Steph Ackerman.

Doodlebug's Essential Colorwheel collection is an amazing assortment of colors and patterns. It's the perfect paper for creating all types of projects. Today I'm focusing on cards - this collection has ample supplies to make some awesome cards.

My first card is a tri-fold card.  I cut my cardstock 5 1/2" x 11", then, using my Scor-Pal, I scored the cardstock at 2 3/4" and 8 3/4" to create the 2 folds.  Using the reverse side of the Fancy Florals paper, I cut it to fit the 2 outer edges of the card.  I then embossed these pieces with a Cuttlebug embossing folder before attaching them to the card.  I then ran lavender twine around both pieces.

The sentiment was stamped in black ink on white cardstock, then adhered to the Fancy Florals paper before being adhered to the die cut label.  This label was then adhered to the left side of the card only to allow the card to open.

I cut the Fancy Florals paper to fit the 3 interior sections of the card, then using Spelbinders Beaded Circles, I created the center pieces of the interior card. The sentiment was stamped in black ink.

My next card is an easel card which was cut 5 1/2" x 11".  Using my Scor-Pal,  I scored the cardstock at 5 1/2" to create the card fold, then scored again at 8 1/4" to create the "tent" feature that would create the easel effect.  Evening Garden was cut to fit the card front and the reverse side was used across the center of the card.  Using my Scor-pal, I created 2 score lines on this piece before adhering it to the card.  I wrapped some twine around the card and die cut the frame for my sentiment.

I stamped another sentiment on the die cut frame which was attached to the bottom portion of the card with foam adhesives to allow the card to stand.  I added some butterfly stickers to the card with foam adhesives so they would stand out.

I used a pre-made card for this project, cutting black cardstock to fit the front.  I cut the Social Butterfly paper 4" x 5" and scored a 1/2" line around this block using my Scor-Pal.

I added a Flower Braddie to "happy" and then added the die cuts to the card front with foam adhesives.

This darling little purse doubles as a gift card holder and was so much fun to make.  Cutting the Evening Garden paper 6" x 6", I scored at the 3" mark and folded the paper in half.  I then diagonally cut the corners to create the shape.

Using Spellbinders Grand Nestabilities, I cut the flap and adhered it to the back of the purse with Scor-tape.  I punched two holes and threaded ribbon through.
I then created a pocket for the gift card and stamped a sentiment on top.

I hope you enjoyed these projects and thanks for stopping by today.

Supplies:
two white lunch bags
Scor-Pal
Scor-Tape
Doodlebug Ladybug Garden Collection

Start with two white paper lunch bags and score them in the middle. Make sure that you alternate the top and bottom so that you have a variety of pages.

Next fold them into a book then take your Crop-a-dile and punched three holes on the edge to create a binding on your book.  (I used eyelets to give it more stability and coordinating baker's twine from Doodlebug to create colorful accents.)

Now decorate the pages and have fun!

My Honey page slips into one of tops of the bags.

The ladybug page is also a slip in page.

Today's bonus entry comes by showing us one of your favorite Scor-pal projects. It can be something you've created and posted online, it can be a project from the Scor-pal Project Board on Pinterest, it can be from the Scor-pal Gallery at Splitcoast Stampers, a project from the project listing on Scor-pal website or anywhere else! Simply leave a comment with the link here on this post telling us what you can't wait to make.

Now for today's projects from Scor-pal Designer Gini Cagle

This week the Design Teams from Scor-pal and Doodlebug Design have teamed up to bring you some cheerful inspiration.

It's always a challenge for me to find fancy fold cards that I haven't made, and I happened to find the Double Dutch Fold card tutorial at Splitcoast Stampers.  I didn't change any of the measurements, so it will be easy for you to follow along from their tutorial. And the marks on the Scor-Pal make this a very easy card to put together.

Let's talk about the front of the card - For the focal point, I used the trees from the sheet of Hello Spring - Double Sided Cute Cuts. This already had the trees printed on it, but, I used the matching Sugar Coated Cardstock Stickers over the trees, to give it more dimension.  All of the color coordinated accesories in this collection are really fun!  I didn't want to overwhelm the card with too many pearls (did that really just come from my mouth?!!!) - so, I just added  matching Spring Mini Pearls to the glittery dots on my patterned paper.

To keep my lower "gates" closed, I used the Hello Spring Shaped Brads on each side, and wrapped Doodle Twine Bright Assortment to tie them closed.

Now for the fun part of the card -the inside!

I stamped/paper pieced the house from Doodlebug Designs/ Hampton Art Home Sweet Home stamp set.   My flowers are the Spring Boutique Buttons with Doodle Twine for the stems.

When you open the gates, you find the sentiment.

The Cute Cuts had a banner - but it wasn't the sentiment I wanted to use.  So, after I removed the banner from the sheet, I used the punched out area for a template to draw the shape onto the blue polka dotted paper.  I stamped "welcome" from the You Said It Clear stamps set, repeatedly across the banner and then cut it out.  With an exacto knife, I cut away the original sentiment from the banner, and just left the pink and white frame.  I glued the two parts together and had the perfect sentiment for my card.

I hope my card has brightened your day!

Now for today's projects from Scor-pal Designer Katie Tate

I loved the papers and embellishments so much in this set, they are bright and cheery and just perfect for Summer!
I decided to make 2 cards and an accordion fold mini scrapbook album

My first card is an offset gate fold. I started with a piece of cardstock 6" by 12" and scored along the long side at 4" and 10" and burnished the folds.

I decorated both the inside and out and added a piece of ribbon to act as a closure

I loved this half bracket journal box and I plan to add a sentiment to it when I decide what occasion I will use the card for.

My second card is an envelope style card. I started again with a 6" by 12" piece of cardstock and scored it on the long side at 3" and 9" and burnished the folds. The I trimmed the end panels on the diagonal so when the ends were folded together they formed an open V.
I decorated the front using a double row of punched grass to hold the front closed.

The insert was made from another of the journal boxes, this time a semi circle.

I added a decorated message mat to the back of the insert.

My final project is a mini scrapbook in an accordion fold style.
I started with 2 pieces of cardstock, each one 6" by 12".
I scored along the long side of each piece at 3 1/2". 7" and 10 1/2" and burnished the folds.
I attached both pieces together on the 1 1/2" overlap forming a 6 panel album.

I used a flower border punch to punch all the way along the top edge and accordion folded the album and decorated.

The front sides have a fence and grass border along the bottom edge.

The back of the panels was decorated too.

Now it is ready to add photos.

Now for today's projects from Scor-pal Designer Diane Zechman

Today I will be sharing my projects that were featured on the Scor-pal blog. Of course, if you missed this project or any of the other great projects from the Scor-pal team you’ll want to hop on over there and see what’s been going on. Be sure to leave comments on each post from this week for a chance to win some great prizes. I made two cards for the hop using the Scor-Pal and Doodlebug's Colorwheel collection. These papers are so bright and fun.

For my first card I decided to make some box pleats with a floral patterned strip. The pleated paper was attached to the cardfront with Scor-Tape on a curve.

 I started with a 1 1/2" x 12" strip of paper and scored it in alternating increments of 1" and 1/2". So, I scored @ 1, 1 1/2, 2 1/2, 3, 4, 4 1/2, 5 1/2, 6, 7, 7 1/2, 8 1/2, 9, 10, 10 1/2, and 11 1/2. Mountain and Valley fold the strip to form the box pleats. Here's a side view of what it will look like:

The card was finished with coordinating paper, stickers, and rub-ons. For the second card I pleated the paper again...this time I made a simple knife pleat on a larger piece for a background. I love how after I pleated the paper, it still lined up to create complete circles!

I started with a 3 3/4 x 12 inch piece of paper. Again, I used alternating increments of scored lines...this time I used 1" and 1/4". So, I scored @ 1, 1 1/4, 2 1/4, 2 1/2, 3 1/2, 3 3/4, etc. Scor-Tape was used across the back to hold the pleats in place and adhere the panel to the card. Some Doodlebug Twine, a brad, additional paper, and rub-ons were added to finish the card.

I also doodled on the flower I punched from the Doodlebug papers. ;) Be sure to check out all the projects from this week on the Scor-Pal and Doodlebug blogs!

Now for today's projects from Scor-pal Designer Virginia Nebel

I am so delighted to play with these adorable Doodlebug products along with my Scor-pal.   Here is a 3D House shaped card which you can use for so many themes such as new baby arrival, new house, etc.

Here are the steps:

1. Take a 6 x 12 double sided pattern paper.  Place onto the Scor-pal and score at the 3, 6, and 9 inch marks.

2. Rotate the paper and score at the 3 inch mark which is the vertical centre.

3. Look for the scored square pattern on your paper. Rotate so that you line up the opposite square
corners and score diagonally.  Repeat for the other opposite corners of the square. Refer to the photo to check the score pattern you should have.

4. Crease the paper along the diagonal score line and tuck in the side to form a peak- this the triangular roof shape of the house.

5. Place the house shape with the bottom flush along the Scor-pal.  Score 3/4 inch from the bottom just to the top of the underside of the triangle portion.
6. Use scissor to cut out the piece. (repeat on other side)

7. To keep the card together, use a staple or sew in a few stitches along the middle spine.

8. You have just created your house card.  You can decorate on all sides to really play up your theme!

Hope you have fun building and creating your own houses! Have a wonderful day!
