Pinspired with Lois!

The Scor-Pal is the perfect tool for making a box -- one-sheet or otherwise.  My pinspired project for today was inspired by this One-Sheet Box made by Einet Kessler:

This is my version of Einet's box:

Her instructions were very clear, and I had no trouble following them:

To start, score a piece of double-sided 12" x 12" cardstock at 3" and 9".  Turn the sheet a quarter of a turn, and score at 3", 5 1/2", 8 1/2" and 11".

With the four score lines horizontal, cut out the top left and right corners -- down to the second score line, as shown (the sections with the Xs should be removed).

Cut along the four outer corner squares from the edge to the score lines, to create the four tabs.  Fold at the score lines.  It might be a good idea to fold on all the score lines to get crisp edges.

Adhere Scor-Tape to the center panels, as shown in the photo, and fold in the side tabs.

Remove the paper from the tape, and adhere the center panels to the folded in flaps.

At this point, your box is completed.  You may decorate it any way you wish.  I just added some candy to the inside, folded over the lid, and added a wide wired ribbon.

You could make this cute little box fit any occasion, simply by changing the cardstock.  Here's a Halloween version . . .

. . . and a Christmas version.

You could probably make one in about 15 minutes.  I hope you give it a try!

Mid Month Tutorial by Isia

Welcome to another Mid Month Tutorial. I will show you how to create minialbum that is clean and simple to do.
First of all take your 12"x12" sheet of cardstock (it measures 30,5x30,5cm). Using your Scor-Pal board make a score line at the heart symbol.
NOTE: The heart symbol is not exactly 15 cm. It is the middle of A4 format.
Rotate 180o and make anoter score at the heart symbol.
Look at the closeup. You created a small gap and you have two equal parts for the covers and small gap for a spine.
Rotate your cardstock 90o and make another scor line at the heart symbol.
Now it's time for the tricky part. Fold at the line that you've just scored and make a scor line at the heart symbol.
Remember you are scoring your cardstock only when you can scor @ the heart symbol.
Cut out unnessesary part of your spine.
Here comes the closeup.
Take your 1/4" ScorTape and adhere as shown on the picture below (on the flaps and near the spine).
Embelish as desired. You can also prepare some 13,5x13,5cm or 14x14cm insert cards. śr., 19 wrz 2018 o 17:38 Katie Tate napisał(a): Thanks that would be great! I don’t have the metric version. If you don’t change it to 15cm simply change the narrative to read “score at the heart symbol on the Scor-Pal” From: fusiafscrapping Sent: Wednesday, September 19, 2018 9:57 AM To: Katie Tate Subject: Re: Scor-Pal Mid Month Tutorial Hi Katie. There should be hearts. In my (metric) version of ScoreBoard heart symbol is not exactly 15 cm. It is the middle of A4 format. I can change it if you wish and place "15cm" instead of hearts. If you let me know what those measurements are I can manually adjust the code. Scor-Pal More than One Score Challenge #52 September Clean and Simple

Welcome to the 52nd Monthly Challenge here at Scor-Pal!
We love showing our projects to you and now it's your chance to show your creations to us!
Each month we will have a different theme and you will have a month to create and enter your projects. As well as the theme you will need to make "More Than One Score" and tell us where you used the Scor-Pal on your project. So a single fold card won't count but an Easel, Gatefold, Stair Step, etc will :) Also we love to see your "Anything But a Card" projects, just as long as you make "More Than One Score"
This month is super easy as we want to see your "Clean and Simple" creations!

We have a ton of inspiration on our Projects on the Scor-Pal website and also on our Pinterest Board to get you eager to enter.

We have a nice set of samples from the Design Team, just click on their names to go to their blogs for more details on their creations.
