Happy Holidays card by Steph Ackerman

Happy Holidays
Supplies:
Scoring Tool:  Scor-Buddy
Adhesive: Scor-tape
Cardstock:  Stampin' Up
Stamps: Stampendous, Recollections
Ink:  Clearsnap, Memento, Ranger Distress Ink
Markers: Zig Markers
Dies: Spellbinders

Cut green cardstock 5 1/2" x 11".  Using your Scor-Buddy (or Scor-pal), score at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2" on each piece.

Accordion fold the 2 pieces.

Place the 2 pieces (accordion folds facing up) on the die cut platform and tape them in place. This keeps them lined up while you create the cut area. Using a Spellbinders Rectangle die, line it up evenly across the accordion folds and tape in place.  You may need to run it through your machine several times for a good clean cut.

After die cutting, you have two pieces that look like this.

Using Scor-tape, adhere the center panels together to form the card.

Cut red cardstock 5 1/4" x 5 1/4", ink edges with brown ink and adhere to the inside.

Tape 2 Spellbinders Rectangle dies to red cardstock.  This creates the finished edges for the front of the card.  You will need to create two pieces, so do this process twice.

Stamp the image on white cardstock and use the same rectangle dies to cut out the stamped image and the scalloped mat.  Color the image using a medium of choice.  I used Zig Art & Brush Markers.  Ink the edges with Ranger Victorian Velvet Distress Ink using the direct to paper technique. Mat to the scalloped rectangle.  Adhere this stamped piece to the card base, aligning it with the rectangle windows.

Stamp Happy Holidays in black ink on white cardstock.  Cut into two pieces.  Ink the edges with Ranger Victorian Velvet Distress Ink and then mat with red cardstock.  Adhere to the front of the card.
