First up, Scor-pal Designer Katie Tate.

For my project for the Pink Paislee meets Scor-Pal week I decided to go with an accordion style album. The graphic lines of the Portfolio collection lead me to an office supplies/library kind of theme and I thought a simple accordion fold would be a great way to showcase the fabulous design.

Supplies:
Tools - Scor-Pal and Scor-Mat
Adhesives - Scor-Tape
Paper and Accents - Portfolio Collection by Pink Paislee
Border Punch - Martha Stewart

I started with 2 pieces of designer paper measuring 12" by 7".

I scored at 3 3/4", 7 1/2" and 11 1/4" with the 12" side being at the top fence of the Scor-Pal. Do this on both pieces.

On the 3/4" flap that is left at the end of the scoring add a line of Scor-Tape
so you can attach the two pieces together.

Attach the two pieces and accordion fold, burnishing along all score lines.

Cut a coordinating piece of paper measuring 12" by 1" and using a border punch, punch along the long side. Using the Scor-Pal score in between each scallop of the punched edge and in the middle of the scallop. (this will vary depending on which punch you use for decoration.

Using the strip create a rosette and top with a coordinating button.

Create a pocket for one of the pages from a piece of paper 4" by 4 1/2". Score at 3/4" and 3 3/4" along the 4 1/2" side, rotate and score at 1/2". Burnish all score lines

Using Scor-Tape
attach the sides as in the photo.

Use more Scor-Tape
along all edges to create a good bond when attaching to the album.

Decorate the album as you desire. This is the front.

Front extended.

Back extended.

Next up, Scor-pal Designer Lisa Silver.

I was so inspired by the beautiful Pink Paislee Portfolio Collection.  I thought the best way to showcase the paper was to create the perfect gift packaging... it's all about the paper!

Supplies:
Ink: Pumice Stone and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks by Ranger
Other: buttons, black twine by The Twinery, precision scissors, hot glue gun

Template:

Start with a full piece of 12"x12" patterned paper.  Score with your Scor-pal according to the template pictured above.  Snip along the short score lines and remove the labeled sections.  Here's a view of the cardstock prepped like the template.

Add Scor-Tape along the bottom of the box and the side.  Remove the protective backing on the tape strips and adhere to create the box.  Pinch the sides of the top of the box to "gusset" the top.

You have several options to complete your gift box.  In my project, I opted to add a lovely Artisan Flower and Chipboard butterfly to the front with a bit of hot glue.  I used Tumbled Tile and Pumice Stone inks on the chipboard butterfly to match my box.  I also trimmed a piece of printed patterned paper (Unbelievable) that reads "Today & Tomorrow and Forever" and adhered to the bottom of the box front.  Wouldn't this be a perfect way to wrap a wedding gift?  This paper is truly lovely.  It's perfect in every way with it's faux washi tape and lovely patterns.

I also used buttons to create my closure.  The best way to accomplish this is to start with a long length of twine, threaded through the button and knotted in the back.  Add a large amount of hot glue to the back of the button and gently press to the flap (not so that it squidges out from around the edge of the button).  This will leave space behind the button around the edges so you can wrap the twine.  Repeat with the second button.  I opted to thread a bit of twine through the bottom button for a consistent look.  If you'd rather not use hot glue (and we know how much fun it is), you can opt to adhere a small magnet to close or to punch holes in both the flap and the box front and string with twine.

Here's another view of the finished project.

First up. Scor-pal Designer Tya Smith.

Hello there - Tya here with my take on the Scor-Pal and Pink Paislee Promotion Week. Pink Paislee products can always be counted on to be super on- trend and just plain beautiful. I love all the bits and pieces that we got to design with! Thanks Pink Paislee!

We were given some beautiful papers and embellishments from the Portfolio and Artisan collections. What I loved the most about working with these lines besides the beautiful color palate, was the way that I could add color to my embellishments with different colors of inks. On the packaging on the Artisan Collection - it says you can "customize with color" - so I did just that! It was so fun to see the die cuts go from just plain black and white to whatever color of ink I added. Plus the die cuts (I had the ones with the hearts) all have a cute pattern on them as well. The hearts had a darling chevron pattern on them. It was super fun to see what pattern would pop out when I added my ink! If you love color and patterns as much as I do, try these products out!

The project I decided to share with you today is a cute, quick and simple little mini album. I got inspiration from seeing this mini- album on a blog and I did a little adjustment to the measurements. This little mini album was so quick to put together (the longest task for me was having to choose the papers and embellishments to decorate with). It simply is 4 score marks and a little cutting and you are done!

Supplies:
6x12 inch black cardstock
10x10 inch white cardstock
Pattern Paper from Pink Paislee Portfolio Line
Embellisments from Pink Paislee Artisan Collection: Resistable Hearts , Words - Travel,  and Zig-Zag Ribbons
small silver rhinestones (Martha Stewart)
Doily Stamp (Martha Stewart)
Sheer mustard ribbon
Light teal Bakers Twine
Yellow Chevron Ribbon
Mini Attacher

To make the base of the album:
Step 1:
Take 6x12 inch black cardstock and score at 5 3/4 and 6 1/4 (sorry mine looks like it buckled a little)

Step 2:
Take 10x10 inch white cardstock and score it a 5 inches one way and then turn and score at 5 inches on the other way. You should end up with 4 square sections.

Step 3:
Cut between the 2 squares on the left hand side of the paper.

Step 4:
Glue white cardstock to black cardstock base as shown.

Step 5:
To fold up the mini album, simply fold the top left square over on top of the right top square.

Step 6:
Fold this section over on top of the bottom right hand square:

Step 7:
Fold this section over to the bottom left hand square (the one that is glued to your base.)

That is all there is to it!

Here is my album all decorated with the papers and embellishments. This album is the PERFECT size for all of those smaller photos that you may have, and would especially work great with all of those Instagram photos you have started taking! I received the travel stickers with my goodies and so I decided to add photos from our last cruise to the Bahamas! This little album was just the right size and honestly took me about 30 minutes is all to put together after I had picked out my photos and papers.

Next up, Scor-pal Designer Steph Ackerman.

Good morning, Steph here with a card using my Scor-pal and some fabulous papers from Pink Paislee's Portfolio Collection.

I loved the block of quotes on the Outstanding and Unbelievable papers so I designed a card to work around them.  As I wanted to keep my card simple to maintain the focus on these quotes,  I decided to created a scored background.

Supplies:
Scoring Tool:  Scor-pal
Pattern paper, chipboard: Pink Paislee
Cardstock: Bazzill, DCWV
Ink: Clearsnap
Punch: Fiskars

Cutting cardstock 5 1/2" x 11", I scored it in half to create the card.  Then, lining up the card diagonally on the #6, I began to score every 1/4" until I reached the edge of the card.

Next, I turned the card 180 degress so that I could score the other side of the card every 1/4".

This is the finished look of the card base.

Cutting the Unbelievable paper into a 4" x 4" square, I created a base for the quotes.  I then took the elements I wanted to use and inked them with Clearsnap Ink before adhering to the square. This entire piece was then added to the card front with foam adhesives for dimension.

Here's a close up of the grouped elements and the score lines.  The Artisian butterfly chipboard and brackets were fun elements that added some visual interest to the card.  To highlight the scored lines, I inked around the edges of the card so that the scored lines would become more prominent.

I don't usually finish the inside of my cards, but this Incredible paper was perfect for the inside.

For my next project, I created a tri-fold card which could easily double as a gift card holder.

I cut the Amazing paper 6 1/2" x 8 1/4".  Placing the longest side at the top of the Scor-pal, I scored at  2 1/2" and 6 1/2".    I used a punch along the edge of the narrower piece to finish the flap.

I selected elements from the Unbelievable paper and used them as my interior sentiments, inking the edges and matting with cardstock.

I love creating rosettes and the Scor-pal makes it so easy. Just cut a 1" x 12" strip of Amazing paper and score every 1/2". Once the rosette was completed, I added an Artisian Butterfly on top.

Finally I added the rosette to the center of the front flap and used velcro as the card's closure.

This next project is a mini post-it note holder.  The Unbelievable paper had just the right elements to use.

Cutting cardstock 3 1/2" x 10", I scored it at 4", 4 1/2", 5" and 9".

Fold on all score lines, creating an accordion fold for the bottom of the holder.

I used the Incredible and Unbelievable papers to finish this project, cutting and shaping the elements I wanted and then inking the edges.

For the interior, I adhered post-it notes and another element from the Outstanding paper.  A velcro closure holds the book together.

Thanks for stopping by today.
