A Sweet Treat to Wrap Up Our Glue Arts Week!

Today is the final day of our special Scor-Pal/GlueArts week. As you can tell our designers have enjoyed pairing these great products with their Scor-pals. We have one last project to share today.

We will be giving away some great Scor-pal and GlueArts prizes so be sure and leave a comment each day this week! There will be two winners randomly selected from all comments throughout the week. One will receive a Scor-pal scoring tool and the other will receive an assortment of  great GlueArts products. You have until 8am CDT on Monday to leave comments. We will announce the winners later that day both here and on the Scor-pal Fan Page.

Once you are finished here be sure and stop by and visits the GlueArts blog as to see what they are up to as well. Also, don't forgot to visit the GlueArts fan page and, of course, stop by the Scor-pal Fan page.  We have some great prize giveaways, contests, ideas and more there as well.

Now for the sweet treat box created by designer Virginia Nebel

Supplies: Scor-pal, Glue Arts, American Crafts pattern paper, Sizzix diecut

Here is a fun treat box to make with the Scor-pal and some Glue Arts adhesive.  Other supplies needed is a steel rule diecut and a 4 x 12 inch paper piece.

Position the paper so that the full length runs across the Scor-pal.  Score at 6 inches.

Turn the paper and make a little notch at the 2 inch mark, repeat on the opposite end.

Line up the notch and the centre score and score a line connecting the two points.

Repeat on for all sides.  You should end up with a diamond shape scored out.

Fold along the diagonal lines.  Apply the Glue Arts Extreme Tac adhesive squares on the flaps, fold up securing the box together.

You have just finished making a little treat box.  Now it’s time for some fun embellishments.

Make 3D shaped tags by cutting the Glue Arts Raisen through your diecut.  Repeat same diecuts on pattern paper.

Peel off the tape backing on one side, position some twine on and cover with paper diecut on both sides.  Tie through the top of the treat box.

Here is another peek at what the final project looks like:

Thanks so much for joining us this week! We will be back on Monday to announce the winner of this week's prizes!
