An accordion album by Scor-pal guest Stephanie Washburn

Hello!

I have a fun accordian album to share with you today- it is so easy to put together and is a great gift idea!

I started by cutting a full 12" x 12" sheet of navy cardstock into 3 (4" x 12") strips. Then, I cut 2" off of one of the strips. That left me with 2- 4" x 12" strips and 1- 4" x 10" strip. Easy peasy!

I used my Scor-Pal to score the 2- 4" x 12" strips in 4" increments. Then I scored the 1- 4" x 10" strip at 1", 5", and 9". I have included a quick diagram to show you how I cut and scored the strips to create the album!

I used Scor-Tape to attach the strips together- adhering the 1" sections on the middle strip to the longer stips. Scor-Tape is super strong so there is no worry of it coming apart!

Here's the cover of the album. I cut a 3 3/4" square of white cardstock and stamped the floral image with tan ink. Then, I ran the stamped cardstock through the printer to personalize it a bit! I added the names of my sweet nieces and the date the photos were taken. I very simply adhered the cover on the front of the album with Scor-Tape!

On the inside, I placed a clean and simple sheet of patterned paper on the first square and then started with the photos. These are some of my favorite photos of the summer....

I finished the album the same way I started it, with a neutral sheet of patterned paper. These areas could easily be used for journaling, too!

I love the way this project came together and I can't wait to give it as a gift to my brother and sister-in-law!

Thank you so much for letting me share my project with you today!
You are more than welcome to come over and visit my blog- I love visitors!
Have a great day! :)
